It all began when, back in the early 1950s, the spouses (my grandparents) Marino Barani and Gina bought a small plot of land near the Castle of Vigoleno. Initially, the grandparents decided to build a small independent house on part of that land (which was later expanded over time to reach its current state)…

The territory
The castle of Vigoleno is part of the association “I borghi più belli d’Italia” (Most beautiful villages in Italy) and has obtained the orange flag from the Italian Touring Club.
The first signs of habitation in the village date back to the 10th century.
rehistoric fossils are still visible in the stones that make up the castle, also present in the vineyard soil, which give the grapes (and therefore the WINE) completely unique flavours.
